And as of today, 9-29-25, they lost! Interesting that you mentioned their masters degrees, but no doctorates. And yet they want to be called doctor.

Everyone wants to be called doctor, but no one wants to do the heavy work of actually going to medical school.

Today's a victory for all that is right in the world. Kudos to California for upholding a appropriate standard.

Hello -

A few things worth noting:

A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is not a masters degree.

You should read the testimonial of Jacqueline Palmer as well. Medical school is far from the only way to earn the title "Doctor" - https://vaframework.substack.com/p/i-dont-care-youre-my-doctor

"A victory for all that is right in the world" would be removing the use of force and coercion against peaceful people. This is not that.

I'll be curious to see how this shakes out on what seems like an important appeal... the impact of this silly law extends beyond DNP's.

For those interested, here is the Opinion on Motions for Summary Judgement for perusal: https://pacificlegal.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Palmer-v.-Bonta-Opinion-on-Motions-for-Summary-Judgement-9.19.25.pdf

Thanks for reading.
